Introduction

Twist Buddy is an invaluable tool for Yahoo Text Twist players. It scans a game board, provides all possible solutions that can be made from the letters in hand, and even places the words for you!

Twist Buddy is feature rich and the most intuitive Text Twist solution available. It helps players build their vocabulary and overall Text Twist skills. Not to mention it does personal ratings a world of good, too!

Menu Options

	The Options menu allows you to access Twist Buddy's settings and change them to suit your needs (see below). It also offers an opportunity to refer a buddy (tell a friend) about Twist Buddy and/or request a new feature.
	The View menu provides dictionary-related settings.
	The Buy menu gives a link to where Twist Buddy can be purchased.
	The Help menu provides instructions on how to use Twist Buddy, a link to the Play Buddy Help Center, shortcuts to buy and register your copy, and a valuable Bug Report feature to use when Twist Buddy isn't working. But perhaps the most valuable feature here is the auto check at startup which automatically checks for any updates.

How To Use

• Log on to Yahoo games with your username and password.
• Launch Twist Buddy when your game opens.
• Enter the letters into the Enter Text box then press Solve to be shown all solutions. The count will appear at the bottom of every category letting you know how many words of that letter length were found.
• Browse the list of available words and pick one of your choice. You can then enter the solution manually or press play all and let Twist Buddy enter all of the words for you.
• Clear the board when you're ready to begin a new round!

Optimizing Performance

• Arranging the words list: Once the results lists have been populated, you can sort them in the ascending or descending order alphabetically. Just click on the column heading button to sort the list accordingly. Click it again to reverse the order.
• The Dictionary: Not sure if a word is in the dictionary? Type it into the box on the bottom of Twist Buddy and click Add. If it exists, it will let you know. To see what you have deleted or added, click on the view menu and select either option.

HELP!

It won't recognize the game window

Double-check that you have the newest version available. Do this by using the check for update feature under the Help menu on the Buddy. Also, the "News" section at the top of this page has a link to "Updated Buddies." Here you can see if the Buddy has been recently updated and why. 

Now make sure that all the system requirements for the Buddy are met. These include Windows 7, Vista, or XP, Internet Explorer, Sun Java, and appropriate display settings.

It won't work

First, go to the Help menu on the Buddy and visit the Troubleshoot page to see if your solution is there. No luck? Select the Bug Report feature under the HELP tab on the Buddy. Fill in the required fields, capture the screen, and then send it. Play Buddy Support will receive it and respond to you via e-mail.

Registering your software
