Introduction
Ever find yourself spending what seems
like hours looking for a tile that's right
in front of your face? Ever wish you had
an extra set of eyes to help solve a puzzle?

MahjSaf Buddy is the perfect
tool for you. This Buddy uses an
intuitive interface that gives
helpful hints when you need them most,
and can take over the entire work load for you.
It's time to find out just how much this helper can benefit

The Interface (GUI)
The main element of the MahjSaf Buddy interface is the replica
board that maps your current game, followed by the current statistics. Also provided are interactive buttons for an arrangement of options.
If you prefer to let the bot play for you, select autoplay and collapse
the GUI. Want to switch to manual play? No problem - expand and then stop the Buddy and make use of the
show hint and play hint options when you want a little help.
MahjSaf Buddy also offers an arrangement of menu options: Options, Rooms and Help. You can learn more about these by reading below.

Menu Options

Options opens a
dialog that contains a
wide array of parameters
that you can tweak to optimise MahjSaf Buddy's
performance. It also offers an opportunity to refer a buddy (tell a friend) about MahjSaf Buddy and/or request a new feature. |

The
Rooms menu
contains backdoor access
to Pogo's Mahjong Safari room topics. |

The
Help menu
provides instructions on
how to use MahjSaf Buddy
and how to buy and
register your copy. But perhaps the most valuable feature here is the auto check at startup which automatically checks for any updates. |

| Always on top |
Keeps MahjSaf Buddy on top of all windows all the time. |
| Always hint |
Overrides the Show Hint button and displays the hint automatically. |
| Minimize to tray |
Sends the Buddy to the tray (instead of the taskbar) when the minimize button is pressed. |
| Always play again |
Keeps MahjSaf Buddy starting new games automatically when autoplay is on. |
| Play time |
Sets the autoplay game time for X number of hours to infinite. |
| Play sound on startup |
Turns the "Welcome to Play Buddy" greeting on and off. Also lets users insert their own sound file. |
| Play Speed |
Adjusts how slow or fast rounds are completed during autoplay. |
| Blue hint options |
Shows in blue all moveable (matchable) tiles, OR tiles that match the tile you click on. |

How To Use
- Log on to Pogo games with your username and password.
- Launch MahjSaf Buddy when your game opens. It automatically recognizes it and is ready to work.
- Manual players can use the play hint and show hint options.
- Autoplayers need only press the autoplay button to have MahjSaf Buddy complete the games automatically.

Optimizing Performance
- Maximizing efficiency: MahjSaf Buddy is strongest as a two-person team. Manual users will achieve higher scores by using the Blue hints - show all moves OR Show my matches option. Refer back to the bot for all matching tiles which will be outlined in blue.

HELP!
It won't recognize the game window
Double-check that you have the newest version available. Do this by using the check for update feature under the Help menu on the Buddy. Also, the "News" section at the top of this page has a link to "Updated Buddies." Here you can see if the Buddy has been recently updated and why.
Now make sure that all the system requirements for the Buddy are met. These include Windows XP or Vista, Internet Explorer, Sun Java, and appropriate display settings.
It won't work
First, go to the Help menu on the Buddy and visit the Troubleshoot
page to see if your solution is there. Still not wokring? Select the Bug Report feature under the HELP tab on the Buddy. Fill in the required fields, capture the screen, and then send it. Play Buddy Support will receive it and respond to you via e-mail.

Registering
your software
MahjSaf Buddy is
trialware and it cannot
be used once the seven day trial
period has expired. To avoid
losing a great buddy, buy your
copy by using the BUY NOW option
in the HELP menu.
