Introduction
Jungle Gin Pogo's special version of the classic card game Gin and, knock on wood, players have an opportunity to score it (gin, that is).
And along came Gin Buddy - the answer to difficult matches. Those who want to gain an advantage are sure to take advantage of Gin Buddy and its
versatile features.
Gin Buddy scans the Jungle Gin game then automatically begins keeping track of the gameplay itself and illustrates this by listing the status of
the cards. This highly intelligent auto is able to quickly discern your next move (show hint), the deadwood points, and the knock limit.

The Interface (GUI)
Let's get to know the Gin Buddy interface. The main GUI provides a wide range of information. The first items you'll notice
are the interactive buttons. Select Autoplay and use the Collapse feature to minimize the display (you can Expand it any time).
Manual players can use the Play Hint button (Show Hint appears during game play under the Play Hint button). Next to these buttons
are the Deadwood and Knock Limit counters which tell you at any given moment what your deadwood points are and the set knock limit.
The lower section tracks the cards by listing what is in Your Hand, what it knows your Opponent has, and all cards that have been discarded.
Gin Buddy also offers an arrangement of menu options: Options, Rooms and

Menu Options

The Options menu allows you to access Gin Buddy's settings and change them to suit your needs (see below). It also offers an opportunity to refer a buddy (tell a friend) about Gin Buddy and/or request a new feature. |

The Rooms menu has one of most valuable features of Gin Buddy. It contains backdoors to each of Pogo's Jungle Gin room topics. |

The Help menu provides instructions on how to use Gin Buddy, a link to the Play Buddy Help Center, shortcuts to buy and register your copy, and a valuable Bug Report feature to use when Gin Buddy isn't working. But perhaps the most valuable feature here is the auto check at startup which automatically checks for any updates. |

Keeps Gin Buddy on top of all windows all the time. |

Tells the Buddy to play aces as high (11) and low (1). |

Adjusts how slow or fast rounds are completed during autoplay. |

How To Use
- Log on to Pogo games with your username and password.
- Launch Gin Buddy when your game opens. It automatically recognizes it and is ready to work.
- Manual players can use the Play Hint and Show Hint options.
- Press the AutoPlay button to have Gin Buddy complete the games automatically.

Optimizing Performance
- Keep off!: Keep Gin Buddy off of your game window so that it can always see the game and play efficiently.

HELP!
It won't recognize the game window
Double-check that you have the newest version available. Do this by using the check for update feature under the Help menu on the Buddy. Also, the "News" section at the top of this page has a link to "Updated Buddies." Here you can see if the Buddy has been recently updated and why.
Now make sure that all the system requirements for the Buddy are met. These include Windows XP or Vista, Internet Explorer, Sun Java, and appropriate display settings.
It won't work
First, go to the Help menu on the Buddy and visit the Troubleshoot page to see if your solution is there. No luck? Select the Bug Report feature under the HELP tab on the Buddy. Fill in the required fields, capture the screen, and then send it. Play Buddy Support will receive it and respond to you via e-mail.

Registering your software
Gin Buddy is trialware and it cannot be used once the seven day trial period has expired. To avoid losing a great buddy, buy your copy by using the Buy Now option in the HELP menu or use the link given below. If you have already purchased and need help registering, please click here.
