Introduction
Cribbage Buddy is a helpful tool for Yahoo™ Cribbage players. By scanning your hand, it provides the
top two solutions that can be made, shows how the points break down, and reminds you when points can be made during play.
And (if that weren't enough), this Buddy shows hints, plays hints, and even autoplays.
Cribbage Buddy is feature rich and is the ultimate tool for anyone who plays Cribbage. Improve your play by using this handy auto
to show a hint when you get stuck, or let it earn you some tokens and a badge while you're busy elsewhere. This is one Buddy any Yahoo collector
should not be without!

The Interface (GUI)
Cribbage Buddy is a beautiful bot - both in appearance and performance. The main attraction is the GUI which shows the
Player's Hand and based on the hand, shows the two highest point hands (Best Hands). The Combinations area breaks down the best hand
points and notifies you when points are available during play (i.e. 15 for 2).
which combination offers the most amount of points and/or if any points are available during play. If you're interested in saving space,
collapse the GUI then Expand it again whenever you desire.
The rest of the interface is relatively self explanatory: the show hint and play hint features will do exactly that, with show hint
indicated by a red square around the card(s) in the GUI. And of course the autoplay feature performs as the title indicates.

Menu Options

The Options menu allows you to access Cribbage Buddy's settings and change them to suit your needs (see below). It also offers an opportunity to refer a buddy (tell a friend) about Cribbage Buddy and/or request a new feature. |

The Rooms menu contains backdoor links to each of Yahoo's Cribbage room topics. Note: If the room does not load, login to any Yahoo game with your username and password first then select the desired room from the list. |

The Help menu provides instructions on how to use Cribbage Buddy, a link to the Play Buddy Help Center, shortcuts to buy and register your copy, and a valuable Troubleshoot and Bug Report feature to use when Cribbage Buddy isn't working. But perhaps the most valuable feature here is the auto check at startup which automatically checks for any updates. |

How To Use
- Log on to Yahoo games with your username and password.
- Launch Cribbage Buddy when your game opens. It automatically recognizes it and is ready to work. The interface gives users access to two
prominent elements: play hint will play the next best move when manual players get stuck, while the autoplay makes the Buddy do all of the gameplay.

Optimizing Performance
- Tag team: To get the best scores, play manually and refer to Cribbage Buddy to ensure you're not missing any points.
- Versatility: You can play manually, and/or while watching or playing another cribbage game via entering the cards. Click in the Player Hand section on the GUI and a display of cards will appear. Select the hand and press OK. To deselect a card, click on it again.
- Under cover: Don't want the Buddy to appear on your taskbar? Use the minimize to tray option! .

HELP!
It won't recognize the game window
Double-check that you have the newest version available. Do this by using the check for update feature under the Help menu on the Buddy. Also, the "News" section at the top of this page has a link to "Updated Buddies." Here you can see if the Buddy has been recently updated and why.
Now make sure that all the system requirements for the Buddy are met. These include Windows XP or Vista, Internet Explorer, Sun Java, and appropriate display settings.
It won't work
First, go to the Help menu on the Buddy and visit the Troubleshoot page to see if your solution is there. No luck? Select the Bug Report feature under the HELP tab on the Buddy. Fill in the required fields, capture the screen, and then send it. Play Buddy Support will receive it and respond to you via e-mail.

Registering your software
Cribbage Buddy is trialware and it cannot be used once the seven day trial period has expired. To avoid losing a great buddy, buy your copy by using the Buy Now option in the HELP menu or use the link given below. If you have already purchased and need help registering, please click here.
