Introduction
Clue Buddy is an auto for CLUE Secrets & Spies. This means that Clue Buddy automatically plays the CLUE Secrets & Spies game by
finding the hidden objects and providing or playing the solution to CLUE Secrets & Spies episodes.

The Interface (GUI)
Getting to know the Clue Buddy interface is easy. The prominent feature is the Display
area that provides a visual reference to what's happening on the game itself. Next is the Stats area where you can always be informed as to the number of games played,
best score, and tokens earned. Underneath these are the interactive buttons. It has a Autoplay button which doubles as a Stop button, a Collapse
button that will collapse the GUI (doubles as an Expand button), Show Hint and Play Hint buttons which show or play the next recommended move, and a status bar that lets you know what's going on.
It also lists a few menu options: Options, Rooms, and Help. You can learn more about these by reading below.

Menu Options

The Options menu allows you to access Clue Buddy's settings and change them to suit your needs (see below). It also offers an opportunity to refer a buddy (tell a friend) about Clue Buddy and/or request a new feature. |

The Rooms menu has one of most valuable features of Clue Buddy. It contains backdoors links to each of Pogo's CLUE Secrets & Spies room topics. |

The Help menu provides instructions on how to use Clue Buddy, a link to the Play Buddy Help Center, shortcuts to buy and register your copy, and a valuable Troubleshoot and Bug Report feature to use when Clue Buddy isn't working. But perhaps the most valuable feature here is the auto check at startup which automatically checks for any updates. |

Keeps Clue Buddy on top of all windows all the time. |

How To Use
- Log on to Pogo games with your username and password, or select a room topic from Clue Buddy's Rooms menu.
- If you haven't already done so, launch Clue Buddy when your game opens. It automatically recognizes it and is ready to work.
- Manual players can use the play hint and show hint options.
- Autoplayers need only press the autoplay button to have Clue Buddy play the game automatically.

Optimizing Performance
- Episodes guide: Once in awhile an object will appear that the Buddy does not know and it will return to the main menu; feel free to submit a bug report of the missing object so that it will be added to the solutions.
- Out of sight: If you need the Buddy to autoplay only, feel free to minimize it; it will be out of sight but can be immediately accessed again from your task bar.

HELP!
It won't recognize the game window
Double-check that 100% (all 4 corners) of the game are visible and that you have the newest version available. Do this by using the check for update feature under the Help menu on the Buddy. Also, the "News" section at the top of this page has a link to "Updated Buddies." Here you can see if the Buddy has been recently updated and why.
Now make sure that all the system requirements for the Buddy are met. These include Windows, Internet Explorer, and appropriate display settings.
It keeps starting a new game or returning to the main menu
This is an intelligent feature that enables the Buddy to continue playing until stopped; when the Buddy returns to the main menu to play a new episode it means that one or more objects were not located on a specific puzzle. Feel free to visit the puzzle if you choose and submit a bug report of the missing object(s) to be added to Clue Buddy's inventory.
It won't work
Select the Bug Report feature under the HELP tab on the Buddy. Fill in the required fields, capture the screen, and then send it. Play Buddy Support will receive it and respond to you via e-mail.

Registering your software
Clue Buddy is trialware and it cannot be used once the seven day trial period has expired. To avoid losing a great buddy, buy your copy by using the Buy Now option in the HELP menu. If you have already purchased and need help registering, please click here.
