Introduction
Blackjack is a game where one wrong move can bring the cards tumbling down. When it comes to "beating the house" one must have accurate knowledge of
the best time to hit, stand, or double-down. So when there are ratings at stake, your standing is threatened, and you can't afford losses, then
it's time for Blackjack Buddy.
Blackjack Buddy is a non-intrusive tool that helps enhance your Blackjack playing skills and also improve your score. High on stealth and logic, Blackjack Buddy is the quintessential Blackjack helper and a must for lovers of this legendary card game.

The Interface (GUI)
Getting to know Blackjack Buddy's interface will only take a moment or two. The obvious feature is the Display
area that provides a visual reference to what's happening on the game itself. Beneath this is the Stats area where the Buddy notifies you as to the number of hands played,
the total number of hands won, and the amount of virtual money made (or lost). Underneath these are the interactive buttons: the Autoplay button will begin the autoplay and can be stopped at any time.
Similarly, the GUI can be collapsed or expanded at any time. The Show hint and Play Hint buttons will do exactly that.
Blackjack Buddy also lists a few menu options:

Menu Options

The Options menu allows you to access Blackjack Buddy's settings and change them to suit your needs (see below). It also offers an opportunity to refer a buddy (tell a friend) about Blackjack Buddy and/or request a new feature. |

The Rooms menu has one of most valuable features of Blackjack Buddy. It contains backdoor links to each of Yahoo's Blackjack rooms topics. |

The Help menu provides instructions on how to use Blackjack Buddy, a link to the Play Buddy Help Center, shortcuts to buy and register your copy, and a valuable Bug Report feature to use when Blackjack Buddy isn't working. But perhaps the most valuable feature here is the auto check at startup which automatically checks for any updates. |

Keeps Blackjack Buddy on top of all windows all the time. |

Sends the Buddy to the tray (instead of the taskbar) when the minimize button is pressed. |

Sets the autoplay game time for X number of hours to infinite. |

Turns the "Welcome to Play Buddy" greeting on and off. Also lets users insert their own sound file. |

Adjusts how slow or fast rounds are completed during autoplay. |

Tells Blackjack Buddy to bet the value specified. |
| Bet Max |
Tells Blackjack Buddy to use the max bet option. |
| Always buy insurance |
Ensures that Blackjack Buddy will always buy insurance when it's offered. |
| Split AA only |
Tells Blackjack Buddy to only split Aces, and NO other hands. |
| Card Count |
Engages the card counting feature, and displays the count on the GUI. |
| Base bet |
If card counting is selected you must choose if you want Blackjack Buddy to base its incremental betting amounts (more favorable the deck, the higher the bet) on a smaller initial bet (low roller) or larger initial bet (high roller). |

How To Use
- Log on to Yahoo games with your username and password, or select a room topic from Blackjack Buddy's Rooms menu.
- If you haven't already done so, launch Blackjack Buddy when your game opens. It automatically recognizes it and is ready to work.
- Manual players can use the play hint and show hint options.
- Autoplayers need only press the autoplay button to have Blackjack Buddy complete the games automatically.

Optimizing Performance
- Counting Cards: Players who want to practice counting can engage the Buddy's "Card Count" option but BEWARE: when autoplaying with this option engaged, your virtual money may dwindle! The best scenario to ensure this doesn't happen is to play with at least 3 players and with a 3-6 deck shoe (the more decks in the shoe, the better for the card counter!).

HELP!
It won't recognize the game window
Double-check that you have the newest version available. Do this by using the check for update feature under the Help menu on the Buddy. Also, the "News" section at the top of this page has a link to "Updated Buddies." Here you can see if the Buddy has been recently updated and why.
Now make sure that all the system requirements for the Buddy are met. These include Windows, Internet Explorer, and appropriate display settings.
It won't work
Select the Bug Report feature under the HELP tab on the Buddy. Fill in the required fields, capture the screen, and then send it. Play Buddy Support will receive it and respond to you via e-mail.

Registering your software
Blackjack Buddy is trialware and it cannot be used once the seven day trial period has expired. To avoid losing a great buddy, buy your copy by using the Buy Now option in the HELP menu. If you have already purchased and need help registering, please click here.
