Introduction
Addiction Solitaire is a Solitaire style single-person card game that is easy to learn but difficult to master. Though
the game might seem simple, it requires careful planning and decision making to ensure that you don't come to a dead end.
There will be times when the assistance of a good old buddy might make the difference between a good score and a rotten one.
Addiction Buddy is another winner from Play Buddy, that makes short work of the game and lets you rake in maximum number
of points with minimal effort. It is the convenient and effective way to achieve major scores and impress fellow players.

The Interface (GUI)
Getting to know the Addiction Buddy interface is easy. The prominent feature is the deck
area that provides a visual reference to the deck of cards. It conveniently illustrates the cards and their location, corresponding
directly with the game board itself. Next is the Stats area where you can always be informed as to the number of games played,
high score, and tokens earned. Underneath these are the interactive buttons. The Autoplay button will begin the autoplay and can be stopped at any time.
Similarly, the GUI can be collapsed or expanded at any time. The Show hint and Play Hint will do exactly that.

Menu Options

The Options menu allows you to access Addiction Buddy's settings and change them to suit your needs (see below). It also offers an opportunity to refer a buddy (tell a friend) about Addiction Buddy and/or request a new feature. |

The Rooms menu has one of most valuable features of Addiction Buddy. It contains backdoors links to each of Pogo's Addiction Solitaire room topics. |

The Help menu provides instructions on how to use Addiction Buddy, a link to the Play Buddy Help Center, shortcuts to buy and register your copy, and a valuable Bug Report feature to use when Addiction Buddy isn't working. But perhaps the most valuable feature here is the auto check at startup which automatically checks for any updates. |

| Always on top |
Keeps Addiction Buddy on top of all windows all the time. |

Overrides the Show Hint button and displays the hint automatically. |

Sends the Buddy to the tray (instead of the taskbar) when the minimize button is pressed. |

Keeps Addiction Buddy starting new games automatically when autoplay is on. |

Sets the autoplay game time for X number of hours to infinite. |

Turns the "Welcome to Play Buddy" greeting on and off. Also lets users insert their own sound file. |

Adjusts how slow or fast rounds are completed during autoplay. |

Tells Addiction Buddy to use shuffles during gameplay. |
| Use power up |
Tells Addiction Buddy to use the powerups during gameplay. |

Tells Addiction Buddy to start a new game when there are no moves left. |

Tells Addiction Buddy to play for the gold cards only. |

How To Use
- Log on to Pogo games with your username and password.
- Launch Addiction Buddy and use the Rooms option to quickly enter a room topic, then enter a game room.
- When your game opens, the Buddy automatically recognizes it and is ready to work.
- Manual players can use the play hint and show hint options.
- Autoplayers need only press the autoplay button to have Addiction Buddy complete the games automatically.

- Flying through Ranks: Use the Speed rank option if you want to get ranks quickly.

HELP!
It won't recognize the game window
Double-check that you have the newest version available. Do this by using the check for update feature under the Help menu on the Buddy. Also, the "News" section at the top of this page has a link to "Updated Buddies." Here you can see if the Buddy has been recently updated and why.
Now make sure that all the system requirements for the Buddy are met. These include Windows XP or Vista, Internet Explorer, Sun Java, and appropriate display settings.
It won't work
First, go to the Help menu on the Buddy and visit the Troubleshoot page to see if your solution is there. No luck? Select the Bug Report feature under the HELP tab on the Buddy. Fill in the required fields, capture the screen, and then send it. Play Buddy Support will receive it and respond to you via e-mail.

Registering your software
